It all began nine years ago, when the founder of Transgender Michigan Rachel Crandall-Crocker went further with her advocacy and announced March 31 as a day when thousands of trans people can be seen. Since then this holiday has been celebrated all over the world, even in places where being openly transgender is not allowed by the law.
