TRANSPARENCY & RESPONSIBILITY

Editorial Standards and Sources

Who publishes this wiki?

My Transgender Cupid publishes this wiki as general educational information alongside its dating website. It is not a healthcare service. A publisher byline identifies responsibility for an article; it does not establish medical qualifications.

What does source-checked mean?

On October 14, 2026, we revised the health-category articles, the HRT and gender dysphoria guides, and the pre-op/post-op glossary. We checked the revised discussions against the primary clinical, public-health and research sources linked in those pages, removed unsupported generalisations and retained relevant uncertainties.

The check was an AI-assisted editorial source check. No qualified medical reviewer is appointed to these articles, and we do not label them medically reviewed. A linked clinician or institution has not endorsed our article simply because we cite their work.

How we use sources

Health explanations link to the relevant institutional guidance or original research. A case report is described as a case report, not a prediction for everyone. The date we checked a source is separate from the date the source was published; older guidance is not presented as newly published research.

Dates and corrections

An updated date means the article was substantively revised. Other wiki pages retain their earlier dates unless their content was revised. This revision does not mean every statement in every older wiki page has been medically checked.

To report an error, use our contact page and include the wiki URL, the passage and any supporting source. We assess corrections against the relevant evidence.

Using health information

General information cannot determine a diagnosis, suitable medication, surgical plan or personal outcome. Those decisions need an appropriately qualified healthcare professional who knows the individual situation. This wiki does not provide prescriptions or individual treatment plans.
