A City of Many Things, Will Vancouver Be Your City of Love?

Vancouver is one of the most popular cities to visit in Canada along with Montreal, Toronto, and Edmonton. 52% percent of the population is fluent in English. It is also listed as one of the best places to live. In 2010, this city hosted the Winter Olympics and Paralympics – a testament that it really is a great city to visit.

It has the widest network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, gender diverse, queer, two-spirit (LGBTQ2+) community situated in Western Canada. The said community mainly revolves along Davie Street and Commercial Drive. Every year, a week in August is announced as Pride Week by the Mayor as a support for the LGBTQ2+ community.

Just last year, March 2017, washroom signage all over the city were changed to “Trans People Welcome”. This is a battle won for trans and other gender identities who face discrimination in their daily lives and have been denied access to basic forms of human needs for several years. With this, any person can choose what gender identity they want to identify themselves with and they have the freedom to choose the facility they want to use.

What are you waiting for? Meet your transgender partner here. If you’re still hesitant because you’re not yet familiar with the city, we compiled a list of places that you can consider in your ts dating plan.

MEET TRANSGENDER-WOMEN IN VANCOUVER

1. Get the feel of the city at Granville Island

If you’re up to really get to know the favorite of locals there, this is the place where you should take your transsexual date. Best way to get here is by the mini-tugboat ferry. It crosses at False Creek.

From restaurants, theatres, craft studios, artisan workshops, public market, Granville Island will never run out of things to offer. You can find unique souvenirs here and specialty items. This can be a whole day affair for you and your partner.

2. Tap your inner geek at Vancouver’s Science World

The Vancouver’s Science World has live educational science shows and interactive displays that will surely entertain even the people who are least interested in the said field. They even have a program where you can both see how you will look when you get older. They also have a program called Eureka that allows one to play with water, light, sound, and motion.

And if you both have a passion for tinkering things, Tinkering Space will interest you as it will allow you both to experiment and build things. There’s so much more this place has to offer, so take your pick. Make your relationship more charismatic by preparing dates that are unpredictable.

3. Shop ‘til you drop at Metropolis Metrotown

You can basically choose anything you want at the Metropolis Metrotown. They have several shops where you can treat your transsexual partner. Remember, no matter the price, the thought is the only thing that matters. There are also restaurants or even shops at the food court that offers various cuisines. If that’s not enough, there’s a free-wifi (though we doubt you are going to need it) at the mall.
